What we did
SD Cosmetics provided specialist repairs to a broad range of damaged surfaces during both the construction and post-handover phases. Our role was integral to ensure that final finishes met the strict quality standards expected by the contractor and the client. The team provided a number of services including surface repairs to internal and external cladding, concrete and floor rectification, and remedial work to bespoke joinery, panels, and other high-spec elements. We also touched-up and restored powder-coated frames and metalwork as well as restored doors and windows, providing decorative finishes to all these areas.
Results
Having maintained a consistent presence over 264 days to align with the evolving construction timeline and ensuring a timely handover phase, the SD Team achieved high client satisfaction with all final finishes meeting Bowmer & Kirland’s and standards, reinforcing SD Cosmetics Team’s reputation as a dependable partner for high-value, large-scale commercial developments.
The team worked around active construction zones while coordinating with multiple trades, which required flexibility and rigorous adherence to health and safety standards. Our team’s post-handover repair support ensured that TJ Morris received a defect-free facility ready for operational use. The project was delivered to deadline in coordination with the project handover milestones and over 500 individual surface issues were rectified with zero recalls.
