What does a cosmetic repair technician actually do?
Cosmetic repair technicians take damaged surfaces and bring them back to life, using specialist skills and techniques to restore everything from chipped worktops and scratched tiles to baths, doors and window frames – often making damage virtually disappear without the need for replacement.
You would repair things like:
- Worktops and kitchen units
- Baths and shower trays
- Tiles
- uPVC surfaces
- Brick and stone
The work involves repairing chips, dents and scratches, with techniques that can include filling and colour matching. The aim is to restore the appearance of damaged surfaces and avoid replacement where a suitable repair is possible.
So you would make this damaged worktop go from picture 1 to picture 2!
