SD Director Nick Jones has been gearing up for the season ahead by competing at the opening round of the V de V Championship in Barcelona.
Driving a Ginetta G57, which is an LMP3 car, Nick finished 14th after a damp stint during the four hour race.
Conditions were dry for the qualifying session, but quickly took a turn for the worst for the race itself, leading to several race incidents and a brief safety-car episode.
Speaking about the race, Nick said “Barcelona was great practice for the season ahead. It certainly blew some of the cobwebs away.
“I would have preferred to have been in the car a bit more and to have been more familiar with the track, but the car was amazing and it was a great weekend.”
