What we did
The project was undertaken by SD’s experts in partnership with Total Projects, an established contractor that specialises in transforming workspaces.
As part of any workspace refurbishment, one of the final touches should include mastic sealant application to protect, preserve, and enhance the performance of structures. In laboratories this is especially important as it helps maintain a safe and hygienic environment.
As part of the work, SD was contracted to apply MRSA mastic to the joints in the laboratory areas to ensure the prevention of dirt and bacteria accumulating and help keep the area to a strict cleanliness standard. Not only does applying mastic improve laboratory hygiene, a vital aspect in this industry, but it also gives the space a high-end, professional finish and improves the overall aesthetic of the space.

Results
Having been present on the site for approximately 10 days, the SD sealant team completed expert work to the new laboratory space, showcasing their efficient approach and attention to quality, ensuring the facilities were ready for immediate use by scientists at the time of opening.
